Current Situation And Challenges
As of 18 May 2025, the Gaushala has found its home at Chirakkekode, Madakkathara, Pandiparamba, Thrissur, on land taken on lease through the generous support and collective contributions of many devoted donors. Today, this sacred space shelters 151 cows and bulls, marking the realization of a long-cherished dream—an “own space” on lease, made possible by the heartfelt donations of well-wishers and the quiet blessings of nature.
With limited funds but unwavering dedication, eight temporary sheds have been lovingly built using tarpaulins and traditional coconut leaves (ola), made possible through the collective support of many contributors. Each breed of cow and bull is provided with separate open spaces to roam freely, rest peacefully, and live with dignity.
Homes for Gausevaks, along with dedicated spaces for feed preparation and storage, have also been established through the support of many kind-hearted donors. Though simple in structure, the Gaushala stands strong in spirit—a living testament to faith, compassion, resilience, and collective generosity.

At our Gaushala, every Nandi and Gaumatha is of a pure indigenous breed, living a life of dignity, freedom, and care. They are never restrained with nose ropes and are allowed to roam freely in a natural, peaceful environment. We uphold traditional values in every aspect of their care, especially in their nutrition—feeding them only pure, time-honored, and wholesome foods that promote their health and well-being.
